    if you have any buddies that you trust driving it have them take out to work once a week or something. thats what im doing with my uncles truck until we sell it since hes on deployment. ive talked him into buying a taco when he gets back too :D

    That's one of the the reasons she's getting put into a storage unit. :D Won't fit in my garage and I'm for sure not going to leave it in a parking lot for it to be parted out LOL.

    parts and stuff
    i just let the army store mine. first time for 15 months. the second for 11 months. i would put as little gas in there as possible. thats how we had to turn them in. atleast that way, when u get back u can put new good gas in and not worry bout havin a full tank of gas that isnt bad.

    I've heard completely opposite in my research/reading. If you don't have a full tank, condensation can form inside the tank with the change in temperature. Probably fine either way for 6 months.

    My guess with shipping is they want less flammable hazmat.

    I've experienced similar requirements before with Airforce load masters when moving vehicles with a aircraft, even in theater.:mad:
