A bigger gun makes sense to me, but I have never understood the "tactical weapon" fascination. Don't care to know why it makes people hard either, I won't be buying one.

I think I did, but I can't remember which, and I don't think it was as memorable as all the wahoo I couldn't get enough of. Are the boar any good to eat? Or tough as shit?

depends on the size... the huge mofos are kinda tough and gamey tasting... but the mid sized ones are pretty good

some of the restaurants are even starting to take in wild boar, they're marketing it as "mac nut fed wild boar"

Wahoo steaks, with everglades seasoning cooked on a grill, squeeze oranges over them the whole time your cooking them.....HEAVEN, they dont make it to the plate.

 

My friend at one of the upscale resort restaurants makes wild boar on the menu. it pretty good.


you can make any wild meat tender and yummy(depends what you consider yummy).
toughness matters on environment and age. Boars with nuts are usually considered to be more tough and gamey from the sweat. nutless boars usually get little bit fatter.
if the pig gotta travel to eat, then it probably will be tougher.
