    Is it a rattle? My 2005 did the same thing and it's a common problem. It was still under warranty so they replaced the whole thing.

    The magnets in the motor might be wearing out causing a bad rotation. Mine did the same before it finally went out. Replaced it and was wow'd by how crummy it had been and had never noticed.

    There's tons of threads on this. I guess Toyota got some crapy ass motors that keep breaking. Some people had success cleaning it but would come back eventually.

    anybody know how to fix a squeeky peddle? My clutch peddle squeeks when I release it and my gf's break peddle does the same...

    Try brushing on a grease, a spray lubricant would probably be less desirable.

    I think I paid like $85 for mine. I think I just Googled them and looked for the lowest price by a manufacturer that I recognized as making a quality part; which turned out to be a Delphi. Think I got it from CarParts.com or one of those types of sites.
