    GOing with 4.56 / arb lockers front and back. With 4.56 you do not have switch the carrier. ALmost 3k in parts :eek:

    Nice i been debating on weather to get it from east coast and just do it myself. But since gears are so specialized, I might save 500-700 bucks doing it myself. If i screw something up it might cost me more to fix it. So i am going to have yota master install them.

    I talk to chase and he said their not much difference between 4.56 and 4.88, with the rpm range. But the 4.88 pinion is smaller and weaker. Plus this is dd so i want to get some what decent mileage.

    Good to know about the carrier! ARB's must be high cause gear swaps aren't usually too outrageous just for the parts?:confused: Labor is where they usually break it off in ya.

    Stock for now, which is fine for the road. I can tell she needs some more ass underneath when I'm in mud & in 4High. 4Low still works pretty good with the stock set up. I gotta replace both of my damaged bumpers first.:mad:

    man i hope i dont have problems if you say they are weaker. An these are going in my dd as well but up here there are alot of mtns so i wanted to make sure i didnt downshift as much keep as much strain off the tranny as possible

    IF you know someone that is stuck, just don't pull the person out going backwards. Always pull someone going forward. Especially if you re gear.
