Did you fill out a police report. My buddy had a similar issue and the insurance company resisted cause he didnt have a police report

I hit a deer some years ago with my Olds Achieva..hit it dead on the flank left side between the front and rear leg. Still remember the thud when it hit the ground..then got right up and bolted.

I wish one would run into my rear bumper..... Kid can dream I guess....

MIKE BIG FYI right here. If you ever sell/trade your truck in. I claim your bumper. Cause I know I'm having my baby for another 15 years, I shall outlast you

It is funny, with all the talk about bumpers. I thought about John today on my ride home. A woman was driving her cadilac and not paying attention and almost rear ended me. The first thing I thought was rear bumper

Basically my dream/fantasy last night... Except it was BMW which is the perfect car to just hit the bumper enough to crack and need replacing but not completely blow up my rear.... Karma is going to either throw a deer in front of my now or an Asian mini van driver stopping at a yellow light... But real life shit

I was thinking the same if I had laid on the brakes a little more and a little longer she would have hit me but it is not my style to let someone hit me. She was going slow enough while looking over her shoulder into the back seat that it would have been perfect

Me Mike? I have a stock bumper, same as you

John, I'd get some Fluid Film or something on those coilovers and anything else that is now in the direct salt spray.

I was thinking the same thing, I just checked the list, no change yet. I got an electric drill for Christmas that I'm dying to put to work!

Fluid Film, paint on the items than can be prepped, rubbed block wax on the threads, one of those canvas coilover protectors (commonly seen on ATV's but they make them for trucks also).

Be careful what we "wish for"..uninsured folks SUCK....

My only accident involved being hit by a dumba$$ at a red light...said he didn't see it ...Drove the bumper of my NEW Ranger down beyond the taile pipe and totaled his Escort...long story short...insurance card he gave FHP was Bogus....Lucky for me Liberty PAID everything and they went after the BA$trd....

I will say that Ranger was a beast...took that hit and the dealer put it back to FACTORY....enough that when I moved out of FLORIDA they bought it back at full retail...

Yes, I admit I have owned 3 Fords in my lifetime; Fiesta,Bronco 2 and the Ranger :p
