It's a LOT better than WD-40, nothing alike in any way shape or form.... I've used it also. You spray it on and it never dries. The only issue with it is, because it never dries, it collects road grime and will get nasty after a while. The good thing is it can be used as dielectric grease and does a nice job coating the parts you spray with it and it seems to last a long time. It can be used as a wax also, if you apply it in a thin layer and rub it in. I used it to wax my rear chrome bumper and it held up very well.

Denis, you can buy it in an aerosol or buckets. I've got both. Once you apply it, it never dries but for a frame you should recoat every season. The reason I haven't done the whole frame is because it never dries and collects road grime so it'd make it nasty if I have to crawl under the truck later on. I think it'd be good for your and John's exposed suspension components since it is a lubricant and a rust preventer. That's a small enough area to recoat easily and easy to get to with a pressure washer to blow off road grime so it doesn't keep collecting.

What did you do with it? I sprayed some exposed black iron propane pipe on the side of the house, my hitch and rear bumper. So far, it seems to be holding up very well. The stuff never dried, if you run your finger over them they feel oily and I guess time will tell how well it's being protected.

I'll take your word for it

The stuff will pressure wash off, it's not like POR-15

Aimed down, they should be fine. I don't have 510's, I have 520's and they're aimed so they can't be used on the road with oncoming traffic. Mine are wired so they come on with my high beams so they shut off when I cycle the high beams off. Aimed down, they should be fine for oncoming traffic. They're a pretty focused beam meaning you don't get a lot of stray light so it's easy to put the light where you want it.

Are you Mike? I know you have a 1st Gen but come on man...

It's too bad you guys missed out, Fluid Film has a representative who is a member and he gave out free samples to a bunch of people, even paid shipping!

I bought the complete kit at Kellsportproducts.com but you can buy the stuff at John Deere dealerships and there are a couple other local places that carry it. It's supposed to work really well as motorcycle chain lube also without the mess of the thick black crap that you normally get.
