I had read that their high end carbon frames are made in Wisconsin. Whether this is just the Madone or if it also includes the MTB lineup as well I do not know.

Got the newest reclamation project pretty much wrapped up. Still have all the new pivot bearings, horst link bearings, shock mounts and shock rebuild to do but this thing kicks ass for a 500.00 FS. Took it on a nice 15 mile shakedown blast around the greenbelts in the neighborhood at sunset last night. Even with the negative chamber dead, standing and pounding the pedals had no bob, shifts flawlessly and has very good acceleration. Fork is all plush mtb sex and haven't done much more than push the right air into it. Haven't even touched the rebound or dampening yet. Can't wait to get all the frame parts freshened up and hit some real trails. Kinda diggin the offroad eggbeater clipins too. Much easier to clip-in with the platforms around them than just the naked ones on the road bike. Still kinda iffy about using them on technical stuff but got a good confidence boost after the ride last night.

I see in your pic that you have the under seat bag. how many people are still doing that? I ask because I was thinking about getting one or at least everything to put into it then keeping it nice and organized in my hydration pac so that there is not too much stuff on the bike. I know that years ago everything was about lightweight and I know that isnt so much the case now.

    The better coast
I rock an under seat bag, but road biking, thought that is kind of different. I used a friend's extra bike and we used a little back pack to carry all the tools, extra tubes, and extra water bottles. It was styled like a hydration, but with a little more room

I kind of prefer my saddle bag on my road bike to keep things off the rider. But as long as the back pack is balanced, I didn't really mind that either. Felt a little funky with one full bottle and one empty :p

All my stuff is in my Camelback now. Under the seat is gone for me. Plus, easier to have everything regardless of which bike I ride.

I don't ride with my 100oz camelback with it's smallbackpack worth of storage that it has on it all the time. I mostly use a 70oz camelback with just enough room in it for wallet, keys, fon (has trail mapping app) and garage door opener if leaving from house. I use a seat bag for spare tube, tire levers and presta adapter for road or offroad.

I want to go tubular on my road bike but that is for another day. I got all of my tubeless stuff so I will be working on getting it all set up today. I will post pics later of the other bling I am installing.
