Tax Returns!!

Well tax returns are very soon . What are you guys going to spend it on? If on your tacos what are you going to get?

 

I'll spend some of it on repeatedly filling BluTaco's tank dragging the HiLo to Corpus Christi TX weather gods permitting escape from the frozen tundra of me Iowa.

The key to a perfect tax system would be that you wouldn't owe anything or get anything back at the end of the year. That is what savings accounts are for. That being said, I just hope we don't owe anything this year. My wife is thinking it should be about $200 back for which I would see none of that and if I ever find out where this FICA guy lives that is taking more of my money every paycheck I am going to beat his ass.

It's not a "Tax Return" (those are the forms you send to the IRS), it's a "Tax Refund". You overpaid the government, that's nothing to celebrate. Now go change your W-4 to fix this for next year.

 

I can only spend that money one time...in other words its already gone.

 

Part of me wants to be smart and put it towards only the $480 debt i have left on credit cards thenpart of me wants to put it in my im 21 and want a motorcycle fund

Go with option A. You're too young to already start having credit card debt, and I wouldn't recommend it for anyone of any age. If you can't pay off your CC at the end of the month, you spent too much money and need to change your budget.

Well at first it was only a once a month thing, put gas on it, pay it off, but.then i had an u.forseen trip come up and had to travel to maryland on.short notice, so 480 isnt bad when some kids my age are already fucked for10 years.
