Ok... So I ran into a concrete block this afternoon (no smart ass remarks please) with the wheel turned full left and only about 3 miles an hour. Now the wheel on the drivers side (impact side) is hitting the uca... So I'm at least an inch outta camber if not more. I've got the whole thing apart and no sign go anything bent or broken.... Ideas on what I may have efffed up or is it possible to throw the alignment so far out the the tire hits the suspension?

I have literally no experience with suspension and stuff, but my truck had a bent knuckle that stumped several mechanics at the toyota dealership for a while. The hadn't noticed that that was the problem for a few days and thought it might be the frame that was bent before they figured it out.
    Sooo maybe thats it?

Ok. I'm lookin everything over. Alignment tabs match the pass side so something's bent.

Even tho the tabs are good the cams could have moved..if everything appears to be OK visually then the next step would be an alignment and go from there

That's what I thought originally but can the spindle bend, being cast and all? Could be worse if that's all it is.

I'm not buying a bent spindle @3 mph into a concrete block.

Either the alignment is just screwed or you were going faster and hit harder than 3 MPH.

The knuckle can bend fairly easy. Measure the distance between the top inner sidewall and the long skinny part of the knuckle. Do this on the passenger and driver side and compare.

Where spindle meets the boot on the uca measured to the radius on the flare is 14" on the driver and 13 1/2" on the pass. The bisnatch is bent.
I doubt I was even going 3 mph. I was in a parking lot loading tools from one of my guys truck, the way he was backed to me i didnt see what was past his hood, kinda side by side but 45 degrees. I literally rolled out and hit an old light pillar about 6 feet from where I was parked. Didn't even see the effer and not to proud bout it .

    Go Broncos.

I'm pretty confident that its a bent spindle. Gonna wait on the alignment if they can't get to specs I'm still out $80 without any more beta.
I'm gonna pull the spindle tonight and compare it to one in stock at Toyota tomorrow. Then I'll bend over and accept the price, squeal, cry, purchase, install. And continue to cry, I gotta go oem on this, used is so not cool cuz these bastards are pretty fragile.

Agree and called a few in town. All agreed that its really not possible to have the alignment out so bad that the tire hits. Plus I'd have to tow her....

i agree, somethings wrong here. Maybe a bad spindle from the start. Ive run stock spindles on my long travel kit for over a year(they are gusseted now) and not once has anything bent, Ive hit ledges bigger than curbs going 45+ some food for thought i guess.

Just a few little things. It's my DD
Surly more than 3mph. Sorry but if that bent it than Toyota is junk. I just know that it should have went over a center block at 3 mph. Really don't think a spindle would bent that easy. Maybe tire rod?

Ok. Let me define "concrete block" my bad. It was a block of concrete used as pillar for a light back in the day, secure to the earth-not movin for a tank-kinda block that could stop transformers and even bounce a tacoma. Not an 8x12 oversized brick. Like drivin into an invisible wall kinda concrete block.
