    Well,

The last 7 tanks of gas I have averaged about 220miles/tank

I am putting in approx 65litres (17.5gallons) in each time.

    What the hell.

So you're getting what? 11-13 mpg
and before you were getting, 16-18?

Any other signs or symptoms, oddities that you've noticed or just the drop?
    any new mods?

Also have you been in 4WD a lot, that seems to be about my average when I am in 4WD quite a bit.

Did you get upgraded to 285s yet? That will kill it as well.

    How tall are you?
Do you listen to classical or new age in the truck?

    Current miles 58,000

Not sure if plugs have been changed but planning on it as soon as it gets a little warmer

Running 265x70x17 Duratraks on a 3" OME lift

250lbs in bed for snow traction

I am skiing about twice a week which is going up the hill but I come back down :)

I use 4X4 about 20% of the time. Depends on the snow. We had a 100cm dump last week

I am 6ft and listen to anything but rap music.

Did the lift/tires/250lbs go on before, or after the increase in consumption?

Winter Gas and longer time in open loop due to being cold.

Duratrac can either weigh 44 if C rate or 50 lbs if E rated

    4x4

Added weight, not a huge concern

    Driving style possibly, short trips??

Plugs every 30k.. I've been doing mine every spring. Also clean the throttle body.
Winter gas can suck too..on top of that Ethanol gets worse mileage as well.. In the mountains I always run 91 or 92 octane without ethanol.

Quality of gas probably has something to do with it, as well as the winter mix. I got 17-18 mpg during December driving it conservatively (still stock), and then this past week I got 19.5 mpg, driving it without thinking too much which included several hard accelerations for the hell of it. I also normally cruise at 70 mph on the highway. I am not sure what they do with winter mixes in Canada, but I'm pretty sure we are now on it here in the States.

climbing a hill > descending a hill. Lose the winter weight in the back, you have 4WD, you don't really need it all the time. Add 4 psi to your tire pressure. Ease up on the right pedal a bit. Run some quality (brand name) gas. You are also gonna have to get shorter. 5'10" should put you at about 17mpg.

Been warming it up awhile before heading out? Auto-start? I've started mine to warm up before and didn't get around to leaving til 20-30 minutes later. That'll add up against you.

Search this site for info on cleaning the Mass Air Flow sensor. I believe members have reported a restoration of MPG after doing this.

Also been a few members that have had their trucks down for weeks troubleshooting after MAF/TB cleaning.

A 2008 with only 58k (or even 150k) on it does NOT need to have the MAF or TB cleaned if it's running the OEM filter.

    K&N? All bets are off.

When was the last time you took a dump? I know when I save it up for a few days the extra couple pounds kills the MPG. I lose a solid 1-2 MPG.
