Okay techy question...
I'm guessing all Yotas are the same but the transfer cause shoots the front drive down on the passenger side, correct?
I'm trying to plan ahead for when I save up enough to possibly SAS the 93.
Finding Yota axles around here is like finding a needle in a hay stack. Seems like all the solid axles have the pumpkin on the Driver's side.

i didn't build this one, but helped design it.

it was for a team called "Lunabotics" we designed and built an autonomous lunar excavator. i only took part in the design process because come build time, i had to jump over to the project i'm working on now.

very similar to the one in the video, it just doesn't look as cool. however, it can operate in very extreme temperatures, and drive itsself. aluminum and titanium construction (mostly), and a carbon fiber bucket, with annodized tungsten-carbide edges.

I worked mostly with the blonde girl in the pictures. she's now an engineer for Boeing.



this was the team that both designed and built it.......us purely designers didn't get to go on the trip with them

 

I know off the top of my head, the 2nd gens are drivers side and i would imagine knowing toyota that even the 1st gens would be on the drivers side.

 

Plan on cleaning them up, beefing up the welds and removing the front portion, as pointed out by Colin
Maybe use the excess material, to build a-arm guards

Going to be a long night for me, gents. Server move from Jacksonville to Orlando tonight. Servers are on the way from Jax with our engineer who flew down from Baltimore into Jax today.

He should arrive at our new data center by 1am and then we begin installing all the servers. Hoping to be done and back home by 5am or so. Then sleep for an hour or two, verify connectivity and go meet my parents who are in town this weekend.

Hoping I can stay awake and alert long enough. Free coffee at the data center should help...I hope...

i just usually kill an 18 of red bull. pop the first one around 9 to 10 in the evening, and finish the last one around lunch time the next day to keep me on until bedtime

 

that sounds expensive...


im just crazy and can go 24+ hours without sleep and be perfectly fine with no energy drinks, coffee, nothing.

 

i can stay awake, but without the extra boost i can't focus enough to get the work done efficiently.

 

Just had my last Monster for the night. Will be coffee from here on out.

Same here. Going on 24 hours and 20 minutes and I feel fine, but I can tell my concentration and quality of work is starting to suffer a tad. Hoping this last Monster will help tune me back up.

All the physical servers are up and running. Now it's just the VMs we have to worry about...which run the entire company...
