How Do You Remove The Grill In Our Hood Scoops?

I'm trying to replace the grill in my hood scoop but I can't get the darn thing out. Anybody know how? While doing searches I keep finding threads on how to remove the scoop assembly but so far nothing on removing the grill piece itself. I'm worried I'm going to break the thing if i keep messing with it. Let me know if anybody has the answer. BTW it looks riveted but not sure.

Turns out the 3 rivets do need to be drilled out.

 

yeah, theyre pretty easy to take out IIRC, theres a bunch of guys that have taken it out and slid LED's in there

BTW your truck is sick! I wanted me a first gen but never found ones for reasonable price here on Oahu.

Yeah... prices are stupid on oahu. Good 1st gens go for as much as 2nd gens!
