Yes, it is the bi-tone tactical. I am a huge fan of the Rock Island 1911's. They are priced very well and are great shooters with a lifetime warranty. My son had to send his officers model in when he got it for a bad front sight and they sent it back with the sight fixed, a full action and tune job, as well as extra magazines. Great company to work with and for the price saves allot of money for ammo. Here is another picture out of the holster.

Put a Volquartsen extractor in my 10/22 today. We'll see how well it does on the next trip to the range

*tries to say this with zero political content*

If laws are enacted that outlaw hi-cap handguns, I'm getting a 1911 and tricking it out in everything tactical I can think of, purely as a giant middle finger. I'm thinking railed Springfield TRP, night sights and a laser/light for the rail. And it'll wear the AAC TiRant suppressor I have on order, unless it gets outlawed as well.

ya, I scored on the wood. I over paid for it (gander mnt prices), but it was the only one any where near me. that scope on it is a BSA sweet 17, which I have since removed, I have a made in japan tasco on it now and it holds quarter size groups at 50 yds. I really want to get a good scope for it when I have the money, i'm thinking leupold or burris. I have a burris compact 4-12 that is on my 10/22 that is begging to be put on it, so I may end up going that route

either way, I love the 17 hmr round. I was out shooting unopened sodas at a 100 yards and not missing one (after I got it pretty sighted in)

Ya the wood makes that gun look really nice. Can't go wrong if its accurate and reliable! That 17 hmr round is kinda interesting too, its a pointy .22 round ha. Can you notice the difference between shooting that and shooting .22 rounds?

Like someone else said, it is a necked down 22 mag, a necked down 22 lr is a 17 hm2 (I want to convert a 10/22 to that).

Anyways, it shoots awesome. I have. 10/22 and this thing out shoots it at 100 yards all day long. Ammo is a more than .22, but cheaper than a center fire which is why I got it.

The round is a lot faster and more explosive than the.22 lr, and I like shooting sealed pop cans....they explode, there is just something satisfying about blowing something up from 100 yds away lol

I really want to get a .22 mag now to compare, hopefully soon, but who knows

X2. Gotta scoop me a CZ bolt .22 at some point. Have to finish Ruger/Kidd build first, then there's the P-09 Duty if they ever become available, Keltec PMR30 if prices become tangible again, Mossberg 930, threaded barrel for SR22, a Tokarev.......so many wants, but so little monies.

BTW, your TS is pimp shit! Please post more gunpr0n pics of it!

I've been wanting a cz 17hmr for a long time but may have to settle with savage, they are more in my price range.

Couldn't resist the 22/45 Lite when I saw it in the case. Now the question is - do I sell the Buckmark? I've wanted a 22/45 for a long time. We'll see how she shoots!
