help please, 2013 w/ 3" giving warning tone

I had 2011 DCLB with 6" Lift on Icons i was floating on air such a smooth ride. Same thing go through a turn with a bump....BEEP BEEP BEEP but no warning lights on the dash. I just thought that was normal like a warning "DANGER WILL ROBINSON" but never bothered me enough to care.

Have you guys wondered if it is maybe the VSC working through turns which is giving off what sounds like an electronic tone?

Jeff , I thought I would share an observation I had today .

I was driving out of my back 40 up a steep hill with grass and leaves on it so I hit the VSC off button , turning on AUTO LSD and the VSC off lights ( I was under 30mph ) , I got some wheel slip , which flashed the VSC slip light and triggered the same tone .

Is this the same tone you guys are hearing ?

We get no lights. Just a weak half ass tone that sounds like its scared to give a warning. No updates really, just trying to play with things to try to figure things out.

Luckily I work at a 4x4 shop and we have many lift options available to play with. So far the best combination on this 2013 DCLB is rancho adjustable front shocks with revtech front, minut upper top plate spacers and AAL in back. That combination gives us the least amount of trouble for a budget lift.

 

What I was trying to point out is the tone I get in conjunction with the wheel slip indicator is the same " phantom " tone I get without the lights and in normal driving mode

Ahh ok, gotcha. Yes, similar tone but half assed like it doesn't know what to do...

A revtek lift is a spacer lift. It has a spacer that goes between the spring and top plate as well as a 1/4" spacer that goes above the top plate. We have left out the 1/4" top plate spacer to have a net lift of about 2.5". We used the rancho 9000 front struts because they have good amount of dampening/rebound adjustment. Our thoughts behind the rancho's was to put them on the most firm setting (9), to help control the yaw rate sensor. It does help tremendously. With the rancho's on the firm setting the truck drives like a sports car, but, you can still make it give that phantom tone.

We have found +18 offset wheels help tremendously with the phantom tone. I am hoping to test a set of wheels with +6 offset in the near future.
