Excuse the very basic question, but I am in the market for a new Tacoma and have been trying to narrow down my selection....which has been a challenge.
According to my zip code (build your tacoma) the TRD Sport option is only available on 4.0 V6 4X4 AC and DC models. Is this correct?

Second question....can the tow package be ordered on any 2.7L 4 cylinder model?

    Thanks

Tacoma is stock and staying that way, Pickup is TBA as of now.
None of the above, but you can install a tow package in it yourself, that is what I did with mine, just bought the hitch and trailer wiring harness.

the "tow package" includes more than the hitch & wiring harness.

correct...but it does not have to be a 4x4.

personally, I'd have the towing package over the TRD package. the only thing I really like about the TRD sport package on my truck is the color matching grill...mirors...handles...bumper...

and I could live w/o that. could live w/o the scoop as well.

If I buy another Tacoma...it will be an SR5, like my 2010 was.
