Home Maintenance App?

I have the App "Car Minder" for keeping track of my truck maintenance & repairs...

Is there a similar app for your home? Keep track of maintenance, repairs.... Reminds you to do things like change batteries is smoke detectors, air / water filters ... Etc Keep track of projects and dates they were done and maybe the 'inventory' of products and/ or paint codes etc?

And I'm just a consumer so it doesn't have to be the totally expensive type that contractors would use.

Any thoughts?

 

I believe Home Depot & Lowes have something like you are looking for.

 

As far as the scheduling goes, just make recurring calendar events on your phone. I would only do the furnace filter, water softener salt, water filters, things like that since most everything else is years away. Lowes will save all purchase history and info when you buy from them if you make an acct.

You got me looking into it and it's caught my eye...

 

I've been using it for probably 5 years and I have every possible maintenance, o change, mod installed etc listed on it.

I was also using it for my moms car.

I love it.

I already have the My Lowes setup but haven't dabbled in that too much. To be honest, I didn't want something 'attached' to a chain store (more or less).

I know I can setup calendar entries.... But that just fills up the calendar.

Something exactly like car minder would be perfect!

(I should email the developer! Lol)

 

I use an application through Allstate that allows users to set an entire year's worth of maintenance reminders. The application notifies me via email. It also offers a variety of preinstalled recommendations.

 

Which App is it? I searched itunes and found tons of different Allstate Apps, but nothing HOME maintenance related.
