I wrestled in DE for about 4 yrs as well (2jr high and 2 high school). I also went to Lockhaven University a couple of times for camp. I was a little above average, but never was a superb wrestler. Basically started to stay in shape b/w football and baseball, then loved it.

baseball was my first passion, but once i got into high school and saw how unfair it was i decided to just concentrate on wrestling. the baseball coach at my highschool i wouldnt piss on him if he was on fire.

one thing i liked about wrestling was that it was absolutely fair compared to other sports. to be varsity, u just have to beat everyone in your weight class. as long as you did that, no one could be in your place because your parents donated more money or because of who your dad was or whatever.

This is true. Also even though it was a team sport, it was also very much an individual one as well. Loved it!
