I've learned "burn out" is definitely a real thing and happens to even the most optimistic person.

A few of my co-workers made the switch. Some love it and some hate it. Need a few more years experience before I consider that. I was an EMT Basic for four years and have been a Paramedic for 2.5 years so far.

Funny you mention that. I thought the same thing at first! I got into EMS in order to apply for PA school. Ended up getting in at Northeastern and found out that wasn't for me. The part about EMS that I love is that you're only with a patient for 2 hours tops. The thought of taking care of someone for possibly months or years did not appeal to me. Ended up dropping out of PA school and became a Paramedic.

I think I want to use my BS in Environmental Science and maybe become an EPO or Game Warden. We shall see. I don't hate my job right now but it's wearing on me. The one thing I can't complain about is the schedule. I work two 24 hr shifts so I have 5 days off a week :D

Good enough..can always be better of course. I started in Member Services 12 years ago and worked up the ladder. Being pretty much left alone all day is nice though. Much as I love cars I'm not in the shape to be working on them for a living.

hey all - stupid quick question so I can move on... but going to do the diffs and TC soon - almost at 60k... 2010 TRD sport - my question is I can just use diff oil with no LSD additive because it is not a true LSD? correct?

4oz is right, not sure what to use, mine doesnt have it :notsure:

the trucks that dont have the tru LSD are the sr5's and base models. they use the brakes to simulate lsd. the sports have a real lsd.

I thought the true LSDs stopped in 2008, 2009+ includes A-LSD which uses the brakes to simulate a LSD.

my understanding was that the sports have true LSD.... who would pay so much more money for just a hood scoop if all trucks after 09 have it....

I do have the original window stick from PO... I just pulled it out and it said under standard options:
Automatic limited Slip Differential (auto LSD)

Well an off-road model should still have the locker, where as the regular SR5 might not.
