    Feeling a little nostalgic tonight......

Exactly one year ago, this whole thing really began to blow up. A huge change happened in my life and basically my only way to cope seemed to be to buy truck stuff. I had to dig myself out of a pretty shitty spot. Well the truck has come a long way since then and so have I. Now I progress for my own reasons. Learned a lot this year, about life and myself. Met a lot of new people and some great friends. Also lost a close friend early December. As far as I can say....2012 was one hell of a year. Am I glad it's over? Well the year is just a label. But I am glad the label has passed. Ups an downs seem to even themselves out over time. Lots more to go, just have to go with the flow sometimes.

I can't wait to see what 2013 has in store. Very excited for the progress on the truck, things change faster than you know it.

I am curious as to what happened, but it doesn't matter, it's what you learn that matters. I have been watching your build for about the last year, and while I have gone in a different direction with my truck, it has been fun to watch them both progress.

I have to keep reminding myself to look at what I have done, not what I have left to do. And also not to try to compare it to others' trucks. I don't have money to build the truck way other dudes can the way and am frequently forced to make tough decisions about where to put the money, but the point is that I have a nice truck that is capable and more importantly, I am in good health and a wonderful family that are there to share the truck, and the experiences it will bring, with me.

Sorry to dump an emotional post on your thread, but I really have looked here for knowledge and inspiration. And while my limo is not as beefy as yours, I can't wait till we can meet in person and wheel together in Moab!

Your truck has come a long way Jamie, and glad to see you continuing the build!

We all have been through a rough patch once and a while, its having good people around us that make the difference, and also good people to wheel with cause when your out in the bush its hard to have a bad day! (unless something goes snap)

Glad to have you out wheeling, and that is a great shot of all the trucks!

Actually one wheel... Both front shafts are out and standard differential in the rear..so sad. It is truly death defying on snowy highways.

    Things to do:
    Acquire 4wd
    Rebuild front end
    Gears/lockers

    Not a Stocko Taco.
Fasari Snorkel made for a good late night install! Fitment seems good. I also like the shorter body compared to the Safari line.

Yeah Stoney Trail with 1 wheel drive sure got gnar. We need trucks fixed!!

    Thanks dude! Nice 2012!

Not yet. I've been getting the run around on prices. Going 4:88 soon though.

Means a lot, thanks fellas. Love the bumper so far.

My gas milage sucks with 3:73. Rpms are great right now! About 1700 rpm at 60mph. Low rpm but no power, and have to give it more throttle to keep that speed.
