I built the current light bar that they are on but obviously it will not work with the new bumper (my light bar attaches to the aluminum cross beam that you have to remove for the ARB install). Time for some modifications to the bar I guess.

I think the ARB bumpers are only set up for 2 lights.....might just modify the bumper in some way to hold an extra set. I don't want to go the route of behind the grill lights. That makes for a pain in the ass with cleaning, adjusting them or changing out bulbs.

 

I hope to change my front set up to an LED bar either in the valence or like you said, behind the grill, the chrome in the front is sort of annoying me. lol

 

I really like the output of the LED bars....especially with the ones that have 40 or more bulbs.....looks like daytime!!! But.....the cost is crazy!!!!!

 

not really... Okledlightbars have a good quality one and Blitzpro have a 21" that looks pretty good for under 160$ i want to get a long one to fill most of the valence or whatever i can afford once i sell my current setup.

 

Sorry....I didn't mean 40 bulbs...meant 40" bar.

Speaking of selling....I got a chrome bull bar to sale soon.

Is the arb bumper powder coated or painted? If its raw metal or painted it would be easy to weld or pay someone to weld on a few more light tabs. If its powder coated it would be a little more difficult to re finish it after welding tabs on.

 

I have no idea, if i were to take a guess, i'd say painted, ive seen some ARB's up close it just the most amazing thing ever...

you can choose raw metal or black powder coated.. I looked on ARB website a few weeks ago.. its only $100 difference btw powder coat and raw

 

If thats the case, then raw would work best, if you're trying to add stuff then paint it then.

 

I want an ARB w/out the loops.. I guess I would have to cut them after I got it.. I can't find one w/out the three loops..kinda makes me sad

 

you will ruin the deer focking abilities of the bar =-o

 

but I just don't need the loops..lol I would rather fab up one bar that is runs along whole bumper and that isn't that tall..( a light bar on an ARB bumper..lol)

 

Drill into the one thats already there. :O
