So it actually fits and the seat latches I already have 2 sizing modifications in mind for the toolbox , but I'm pretty happy with the prototype

The tool box will get varnish , the backer pieces are laquered maple plywood

I considered spray bombing them black but I figured the paint would scuff off too easy
