I'll agree with you, that was poor of them not to if that happened..I see the same behavior in the dart league I run and it infuriates me.

Brees seems to be under the radar. Manning has no time to get in trouble because when he's not playing football he's filming commercials. Favre was too busy texting pictures of his junk to reporters.

I think people hate on Brady and the Pats because they win. Pretty common in sports: lots of Yankee haters, people hated the Celtics when they were consistently good. Tiger Woods, Lance Armstrong, Venus Williams, and others have their share if detractors.

The successful star athlete who is not despised by his opposing fans is rare. Michael Jordan was one. Wayne Gretzky, Joe Montana, Jack Nicklaus, were all respected and admired.

Brady is no thug. He carries himself well on and off the field. He is gracious in victory and defeat ( unlike Manning who is known to bitch about his kicker, defense, and ownership after a loss) and is always respectful of his employer. He consistently is thankful for his position when interviewed and is generous with donations to youth sports and civic causes.

I'd say he's a pretty good guy who also happens to be the winningest NFL QB in post season history.

Exactly! Aside from the 95 Braves always the same story. I'm not that big of a pro fan and I'm not as big a Falcon fan as I am UGA obviously. But I am pulling for them to go all the way. They have a shot to at least get to the SB, they're tough at home.

But aside from being a fan of them, I'm pulling for them to hopefully break the "curse" and it will carry over to all other sports here. ;)

I'd love for you to find me a quote or example of Peyton Manning bashing his teammates after a loss. That's complete bullshit. He's one of the most classy acts in the history of the league. Your just saying this because you don't like Manning for some reason, and your gay for Tom Brady apparently

Well, at least I picked one winning team in the past four games. xD I pulled for the Patriots, Broncos, Packers, and Seahawks. Hope the Pats crush the Ravens.

I can definitely agree with you there. He's a damn good player, and when you're that good, you're gonna have a lot of people that hate you- whether you deserve it or not. It comes with being well-known. I certainly don't hate Brady. He's good at what he does, and keeps himself relatively clean in the public eye. (I do, however hate the Yankees. Go Boston!)

Here's an article from 2006 quoting Manning when he was bitching that his offensive line let him down.

    http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/page2/story?page=gallo/060116

Sorry, Peyton Manning is well known as a complainer to referees and the media. To be fair, Tom Brady has been known to chew a ref out after a call he dislikes, but Manning is well known for calling out teammates. Ask Mike Vanderjagt.

There's a difference between calling out your teammates in a bad way and calling them out in a good way. He does it as a leader in order to prevent his teammates from doing the same mistake twice. In that article he said that his team had problems with protection, which is what a leader is supposed to do. Any successful team has a leader that points out the problems. Look at Ray Lewis. He yells at guys when they do something stupid. Do they make that mistake again after a guy like Manning or Lewis gives them an earful? No. Your clueless man. Any decent team has a leader who makes their issues well known.

whoa, you cant say something, then get proved wrong, and make fucking excuses. it doesnt work like that. youre wrong. wrong is wrong is wrong. stop being a bitch because tebow has more wins for your team in the post season than your current douche of a QB. face it, Brady is a better QB than peyton manning. its simple. just like 100 is a higher number than 1.

    Dude.

When you tell the media after the game that "I'm trying to be a good teammate here, let's just say we had some issues with protection." You are saying that your offensive line blew it. Period. Calling out your teammates "in a good way" is done on the field or in the locker room.

I think you're mad because your man love for Manning just took a hit.

Patriots are going all the way.

You can't tell me that people are going to try to argue that Tebow is a better QB than Peyton because he got lucky.

No your just blowing what he said out of proportion. Honestly, I don't disagree with you about Tom Brady. But manning is one of the classiest guys in the league.
