Went out wheeling with Cameron today in Downey. Got myself reasonably stuck on his farm. haha Going to work on getting some pics up now

 

yea welded on, I just aimed them to low and to the side when I built it

Not sure how else I would put the light brackets onto the back of the bumper?

hey brady. where did you get your rear view mirror relocation bracket?

 

I did. I had square tubing surrounding the lights so that they were semi sunk back, much like how your fog light holes are. Then welded a piece that came out on the bottom that the light bolted into. I just welded the square tubing at a angle that was 90 with the braces but this puts it at an angle to the side of the truck instead of straight ahead of it.

 

Lol you shoulda just put tabs right below the square tubing man..

The tubing is what is aimed wrong.
Like you know how the bumpers sides angle at like 30* from the main mounting plate? Well when putting the tubing on I had the bumper sitting flat on each side plate and welded them on. Lol big dumb moment on my part, was late and had been working all day rushing to get it done. I didnt notice it until I finally got them all wired up.

 

On..well that's why you leave room in the tubing to move and point the lights silly haha

No offense intended. I have no doubt that it worked well, and clearly you are someone who wheels their truck and isn't afraid to push it. I respect anyone who is willing to do that.

I'm just one of those guys that hates exo cages. I find them totally ridiculous and I've never seen one that looks good. But it sounds like you're going in a good direction with it as a truggy.
