    lol. A dual triangulated 4-linked trailer with 4 coils on it's only axle. :eek: interesting

    I don't think I'd enjoy hauling that thing in a cross-wind...

    Yeah... I think it needs some longer coils that are attached to the axle so they can't be airborne like they get...

    no sway issues so far, and i actually have shocks coming in the mail for it tomorrow.

    the 4 coils are temporary. the inner two coils will be replaced with airbags that i can control from the cab. i just hve to have the extra coils there for the time being to properly support the weight.

    no need. that's what the spring retainers are for. coils are bolted on nice and tight, recentering them on the collar every time. common practice among jeeps and land rovers.

    and to use a longer spring, it would have to have a much lower spring rate to yeild the same ride height, which would in turn, also make it more prone to swaying on the highway.

    Yeah I was going to say longer softer ones but realized it would have the same result. haha. Airbags and shocks will solve the problem like you said:D
