Yes, they're good looking & sharp!

    It's Canon :D

Seems like a good deal but I'd still check Costco to see what they have going.

Thanks Ian! So glad I pulled the trigger on that lens. I'm super impressed at how sharp it is! I was a little bit worried.

    I'm using a 50D and all those were taken with a Sigma 100-300 f/4.

My outfit: on camera 17-40L, next on left Sigma 70-200 f/2.8, next is the Sigma 100-300. I also have but not pictured is a Rokinon 8mm f/3.5 fisheye, and the Canon nifty fifty.

I know you were mentioning earlier looking at best buy at the t3i. Do you have a camera already or looking at buying one?

Good call. Costco has pretty much the same thing for 780. Sept it's an 8 gb Card. But figured I'd get a 32 or something.

Its a pretty good camera from what I hear. My girlfriend has a T2i and its a good camera, she's actually gonna be selling hers very soon, she has a 60D on the way.

What all kinds of shooting you gonna be doing?

Mostly out door stuff. And low light things.

Like land scales, time lapse videos, sunsets and things like that. Basically nature photography. And of course tacomas :p but I wouldn't really limit myself to anything. I know ill use it more for outdoor stuff though but would want to do other things as well.

Also a but a video work for the audio work I do(I'm in music production and other such things). Sometimes I have people at want to do sorta music video stuff. Which I actually have experience in doing and helping just not shooting myself.

I have found t2is pretty cheap but I have read the t3i is a bit better at video and a tad better at pictures. Can't justify getting a t4i though.

So yea..don't know if any of that helped haha

You should also consider a used 5DMkII. Video quality is pretty damn good.

Sounds pretty awesome. That's one thing I've never done is video but I wouldn't mind trying it out, that's one reason I'm looking very heavily at getting a 7D.

I'd agree withe you that the t3i is better just cause its basically a t2i that's been upgraded a year. And I know where your coming from with the justification of getting the t4i, hard to wanna fork out that much in buying your first camera (I say first, it may not be). But if you were looking at the t4i I would steer you in the direction of the 60D. I have always been a fan of the 60D.

X2 and the luxury of full frame. I wouldn't mind going FF myself, I just don't see the need for myself. I shoot for newspaper quality print. So unfortunately needing the nice sensor for noise quality isn't in my need list. Although it would be nice.
