I just spent $26 on 4 new bulbs, i dont have the money for retro fitting.

And yes actually, the thought did cross my mind about 3k for the fogs, but i really like everything matching.

 

i dont even run my fogs anymore now with my retros...they are bright enough and then i have the ability to turn the fogs on when its difficult to see and I can actually tell a difference..kinda cool.

another cool thing i noticed about my retros is that I keep my fogs when i turn my brights on. No additional mods needed..

 

yellow fogs are amazing. nothing cuts through rain/snow/fog better. i'll never go back

 

Maybe next time in need to replace the fogs I will try the 3k's. either way, $26 isn't too shabby for 4 hid bulbs. They are the same brand that I have now xentec, ordered them off eBay coming from Cali and they should be here around mid week. Good night guys.

 

anybody have any battery terminal/distributor block combos they have used and liked.

basically I want to clean up the wiring to my battery...so if i get terminals that attach to my battery that have multiple slots to hook up wires is what im looking for.

 

you looking for a secondary fuse block type of thing?

I run inline fuses on all my stuff..never thought about doing a secondary fuse panel.

 

gotcha.

the tsunami stuff is pretty good. only downfall is you don't really get many more attachment points over stock.

i would get the tsunami connector, and then run a power cable out of it, to a copper power distribution block. then whenever you have to power something new, you just pop the wire in, and clamp it down with a philips head screwdriver.
works the same way as a secondary fuse box, just without the fuses.....so make sure your devices are protected somehow.

Well, since i didnt get any hits on this in here i posted it in the "Lets see your dogs" thread and got some pretty good ideas so far.

On another note, working on installing the strobes in my headlights today. Didnt actually mount them in the headlight area, but instead went into the turn signal area. These things are bright. Then all i have to do is mount the controller and wire them and the switch.

 

I've been thinking about strobes since i have to drive around construction sites a lot. are yours the strobe tubes or LEDs?

They are the strobe tubes, just finished the 2nd headlight and bench testing them. Damn they are bright.

I will try when i get a chance, i didnt save the pic to my phone i copied right off fb and pasted it in here on my laptop last night. The other thread has given some real good ideas so far though. Wont know for sure till she is tested.
