i generally tend to not really care what other people do as long as it doesnt interfere with my life. i really try to live by the quote in my sig.

I'm flat footed, i don't give a %#*. I mean really what people do is no buisness of mine as long as it doesn't affect me or cost me more money in taxes.

 

Yup. doesn't effect me whatsoever. I dont swing that way, so why should i judge/have an opinion on what they do? Moo.

Besides, we want ND to feel happy with his life choices, dont we?

If children are involved - it becomes something of a concern (IMO).

What I mean by that is, I feel bad for those children growing up in school. You know how kids can be.... Kids of same sex marriages will be ridiculed and singled out. That alone - can ruin the kids self esteem and affect them in soooo many other ways.

Oh yeah...as long as they don't start kissing in public. Nasty!!

 

yah, people said that about mixed race couples for a while too. There's always hell at school for kids anyway.. remember junior high?? Ugh..

But yah, its gonna happen - it will eventually be legal so america might as well start to accept it, ya know?

 

The Gov. should just get out of the marriage business altogether. The Constitution is written for citizens, not singles or couples. Easy fix IMO.

 

Those that endorse this do not understand its impact on the fabric of our society. Same sex marriage, abortion, terrorists with civil rights......this is not the country I want to live in. It makes me so sad. Nothing is sacred any more.....the fabric of what binds us as a society is being torn apart by "super minorities". It makes a mockery of the family unit and procreation as sought after societal goals. Same sex marriage will lead to the slow disintegration of collective values in this country. More fundamentally, it rejects the laws of nature.

 

marrage hasnt been sacred for a while. Take everyone in hollywood.. buncha idiots getting married like it's dating.. having gay people do it too wouldnt change a thing IMO. Agreed that nothing is sacred anymore, and agreed that the government should get the hell out of it too.

 

People are going to be people. Just because they are born with a different mind set is not wrong. I know this has a lot to do with religion but it kills me when parents disown their kid or kids because they are gay and they can't see past their religion to love their own kids. I don't know, I grew up in a very religious family and as I grew older, it became more ignorant to me the way some of the church people would act and judge people and say how everyone is going to go to hell if they don't become part of the religion we were apart of.

agreed... there are a lot more heterosexuals making a mockery of the "sacred union of marrage" than homosexuals but you don't hear the homophobes criticizing them or trying to protect their holy union from those people do you?

Honest question, but could you elaborate on this for me? I'm not sure i understand how it goes against any law of nature.
