Do NOT preload your 5100s and use OME springs! 885s are 10mm taller than 884s and have the same spring rate. 886s are 10mm taller than 885s and have a higher spring rate to compensate for more weight. There is a reason more people will recommend using OME shocks with OME springs as opposed to using 5100s.

You cannot set OME 885x's to a setting. You can set your 5100's to 2.5" but noway in hell throw 885x's on top of that...

and set it to 2.5 equals to 4.25?

Well if your talking about the OME 885x's they have been giving double cab owners with nothing on the front (Winch, ARB bumper, "Armor") between 2.25" and some say 3". I have a double cab with nothing on the front and I'm expecting 2.5" or 2.75" of lift from the 885x's with billy 5100's set at 0. You are NOT supposed to preload which is setting 5100's to .85",1.75", or 2.5" but some people do and run into complications. My previous post about setting my 5100's to .85" was misleading. I am NOT doing that. I want 3.5" in the front so I am doing 5100's set at ZERO, OME 885x's which will give me APPROX 2.5" and top plate spacers which give .75" of lift. That leaves me around 3.25" with an upside of possibly hitting 3.5" of lift. I DO NOT recommend setting your 5100's WITH the OME 885x's to anything but 0".
