not sure what u mean the amount u take gets added to your taxable income when u file your taxes.....so by me not working 3 months this will make up for that so it shouldnt be too bad

 

Two kinds of basic 401k's.

A) No payroll taxes taken out of money when you deposit it. All taxes taken out when you take money out.

B) Payroll taxes taken out before deposit. None taken out when you take money out.

Most people say go with A because you have more money to gain interest. Some people say go with B because taxes will be much higher in 40 years when you take it out.

With A I was told I get hit with 40% taxes upfront for penalties then still pay income tax on it.

Either way you take the money out the money removed is taxed as income for the year because it is income. Because your taking the money out in this 2013 fiscal year it will be this years income and it will bump up your income for next year. Take 40k out and make 60k you get taxed for 100k. So even though you no worky for 3 months last year if you work a full year this year you "could" be taxed at a higher percentage.

Personally if I were you I would call a pro. That's why I have a pro, because this shit gets way above my head. If you want I can get you his number. He's in NY.

So my battery may be dying. Had a couple rough starts lately. Pretty sure the factory one died around 4.5 years in, so that puts this one right at 4.5 years (Die Hard Gold battery). I've been contemplating putting in the Die Hard Platinum 31M marine battery (biggest one sears sells) that I use for running tailgating gear. Thoughts? I would obviously have to modify and/or beef up the battery tray and hold down, but I'm pretty certain there's plenty of space for it in the stock location.

Just found the receipt, looks like it's only 3.5 years old. May have just had trouble because I had my lights on when I started it those times. Still under warranty if it isn't though.

 

Factory battery = great

 

Yeah, mine lasted 5.5 years before it up and died one morning.
