    It was 15 degrees when i left for work this morning so big bear was easily in the single digits the news said it was going to get to 1 degree in big bear last night but not sure if it got that cold or not

    It got down to 0 at 2am, probably in the negatives by morning. 25+ mph winds today with gusts up to 65mph, so the windchill puts us easily around -15 degrees.

    I've done a 180 on those tires before (315/75/16) up in Big Bear though it was black ice and not snow.

    Yeah I felt the rear end kick out, but the trac control kept it straight. I've hit plenty of black ice so far.

    Happened a long time ago middle of the night during a snow storm and I was going a tad too fast on the turns trying to get back to my cabin. I was in a 01 Silverado which had no trac control and all I could do is control the skid to a snow bank.
