Got a 30" Single Row Hanma LED Light Bar from a guy at work who is selling them and threw it on this weekend. Pretty pumped on how it turned out with location. Wish I had gotten the spot over the flood that he had in stock, but was too impatient.

Light bar looks good, but I like the licence plate moustache mod better. :D

A guy I work with became a dealer and ran around $240. He doesnt have his site up yet, but over on toyota-4runner forum member Gaterose has a Group Buy going on where I bought two of the 3x3 squares similar to the dually for an awesome price. Check it out.

HAHA thanks, had to cover since everyone seems to cover for protection in pictures.

A little bit. Havent seen anyone mount it here and thought it would look sick. I am looking at a protective cover if I can find one that will fit. Rigids shield is slightly thinner in height but may purchase it and make it fit.

Love the lightbar. I am concerned however, that its proximity to the ground has me a bit worried. I know that when I leave the pavement, I first look for things thst might hinder my forward progress, i.e bumps, stumps, branches, etc...

I believe, that although your placement of the lightbar looks great, and is no doubt functional for your use, it is Way to vulnarable to damage from road debris, bumps, stumps, branches, etcetera.

If you do indeed intend to leave the "mall crawler" realm, I might suggest that you look into a lightbar from one of the awrsome venors here on TW.

Please do not get me wrong, I'm not saying that that the "mall crawl" relates to you or your ride, I'm just offering a different view of your placement and the obstacles that could quickly remove it from your ride.

I can see your worry, but in reality it's mounted on the cross bar above where the skid plate mounts. So if you were to hit the light you would have hit all the way up skid and cross bar either way. I think as for terrain it is high enought with 2.5" lift and 285s. More worried about rocks from cars than rocks off road.

I'v driven over log piles that might put that light out of commission. There is reason why you haven't seen it down there before. And there are things on the highway that could tear the light right off that wouldn't otherwise damage the truck. Small animals, etc.

I dont plan on climbing any damaging log piles, and if I hit a Texas Hog, or small animal that could contact the light, it would more than likely get the bumper as well. That's whats Insurance is for.

Like I said I will not be doing stupid stuff in a vehicle I pay for like this. The person who did that is an idiot.

If this is stupid, then you should not be an owner of an offroad truck. (Edit: Never mind, you have an pre-runner mall crawler) This is my truck, and because I did not put my light bar in a stupid place susceptible to damage (note that it is lifted out of the way where a light bar should be), I only scratched up my bumper, a risk I was willing to take. I actually use my truck off road, and for you to tell me that I am an idiot for utilizing my vehicle for what it is capable and intended for is sad.:(

I have pretty much done the same thing too. Put a little tear in the plastic bumper. Unlike 2nd gens tho the first gen plastic bumper will start to fold in, which sucks trying to then back out. That's why I'm getting a plate bumper :D
Wow. Apparently you have no idea what off roading is do you? Calling the guy an idiot for what many of us do with our trucks all the time. You'll be destined or mall crawling your whole life I guess.

PreRunner or not.. Doesn't matter. Even though I purchased a PreRunner, I still drive it like it's an Off Road... I just get stuck more

I would of ripped that thing off at least 20 times by now.

Someday I'll be in a convoy like the picture above me. I have a 4x4 and she needs to go off -roading. You'd think here in Oklahoma there would be places that I could go and enjoy myself without having to fear legal ramifications, lol.
