Some couple from cl just emailed me and ive been talking to this guy. They from ct and wanna come up and buy truck as is for 20k right now. He has cash he said.Should I jump on it haha. I told him about the loan and title and he said no worries I want that truck now haha. Do you guys think 20k is good concidering it has a broken tail light, scratches, horns dont work lol.

They said they were fucked this week from some guy who backed out on this truck they were going to buy new and they just wanna buy one right now so seems like honest people but I keep my guard up.

Talk to whoever your loan is with. Tell them you have a buyer and set up with them the safest way to do that kind of exchange so you make sure they get their money before you give up your truck. There are some pretty creative scams out there these days, even some where it seems you have money when in reality you don't and they end up with your truck and you end up paying off the loan. Keep in mind, conmen seem nice, it's their job to be likable. I'm not saying he is dishonest but make sure you protect yourself.

 

Thats pretty low mileage. You might be able to ask more. You should bring it to a dealer and carmax and see what they offer you just for shits and gigs. It will help you with your decision
