Lol we get all the rain I rain I care for. Did SA for 3 years, be the first and last years i will do with texas. Acl is the only thing thay brings me back to tejas. All in all texas is too flat, and flat is boring.

We also have a coastline. Salt water fishing

 

But Arizona does have some great motorcycle riding roads. I'm hoping to get some time out there later this year.

 

Meh, been there, done that. Not as thrilling. Plus your coast is still covered in oil

Some of the best riding and downhill you can find. Best single track on the west coast. Snowboarded last week and downhilled this week. Nothing like dual climates within a days drive.

 

Galveston isn't that great 80% of the year. There are times when the water is great and clear. I've personally never seen a tar ball though Flounder gigging is an adventure. We can drive on our beaches, as long as protected dunes aren't destroyed.

The dual climates is something I do miss about living in San Diego. But I'm happy living in Texas; less fruits and flakes.

 

We can drive on our dunes when and however we want.

 

For the record, there are better states than Texas. Arizona just isn't one of them.

Arizona is a third of the size and 3 times better.

It's all dust I can go hang out in the hill country at the summer camp I work at, be surrounded by dust, hike up and down some awesome hills, see beautiful sights. When I get tired of dust, I drive down to Corpus Christi or Matagorda or Galveston and go fishing. When I get tired of seeing bikinis and eating fresh seafood, I'll go up to the Piney Woods and camp in shade. If I want to go to a city, I've got the choice of Austin, San Antonio, DFW, and Houston.

 

If this is a pissing game on which state is the best...Prerunner just filled up a 5 gallon jug.

Damn straight. Go big or go home. Shoot your opponents argument down before they get the chance to say it. That being said, I'm not all that fond of Texas. There are prettier and better places. Alaska, Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, Colorado, Montana, etc.
