We are having a meeting this week with the guys on the job later this week. They still do not know I know they left the job site 2hrs early Friday and that set up today's disaster. Friday they were supposed to measure and insure today's glass delivery would fit. They never measured, told me everything would fit, left early, and now are caught....and on that note I'm heading home

 

Didn't even have to call, he knew. Just got a text that they will be out Friday or Monday to start framing again.

Do the DB's work for your company or a contractor that your company hired?

 

My company. Shop steward and two of our best guys. Sadly one of which lives two blocks from me and I like or should I say liked.

 

Too bad actually. Sure is easier to do the job correctly and move on to the next job. Us old farts would call it pride in what you do.

I'm not overly concerned. My days there are numbered. I'm just amazed the guys I trusted for over a year are full of crap. Don;t get me wrong I have snuck out early plenty of times, but each time my job was done. My leaving never impacted someone else, let alone cost them thousands of dollars.

Not yet. Gave a months notice a couple weeks ago. Still not 100% sure when I start or leave

New company has 4 equal partners and it's hard to get all 4 in the same room at the same time

 

There is one left and you can fight the pregnant lady for it.
