    This has sold.

I have decided against installing my remote start on my truck. It is a Viper VSS3000 smart start. This uses a smart phone for the remote. The app is available in either the android or iPhone app stores. EDIT: You can purchase a conventional remote for this system if you don't want to use your smart phone as the remote.

Included is the VSS3000 and a Fortin Key Override All immobilizer bypass. Neither of these items have been installed but they have both been opened. There are no missing pieces and all instructions are included.

    $150 shipped obo

It does include everything needed for the install. A local sale is pending but I'll send you a PM if that falls through.

This won't work on a manual will it?

I mean I know you could probably leave it in neutral and install this, but its probably not ideal, is it?

I am unsure on the install. It looks to be above average skill level, I was going to have a local audio shop install it since they have experience with this kit.

It's not safe on a manual transmission, I believe it may actually be illegal in some states.

I'm interested in getting this from you but why did you choose to not have put on your truck?

I prefer depinning connectors and soldering additional wires to the pin, then putting them back in the connector. This makes any electronic install an absolute pain, but also 100% reversible since no wires, or insulation, are cut.

I can't reasonably bring myself to ask the install guy at the local audio shop to do this for me. I am not comfortable with doing it myself due to to the number of connections that need to be made.

So this is the just the remote start module right? Is it a stand alone system? If yes, I am very interested and can send payment whenever you're ready.
