I have to agree. You can't expect much at a bar of all places. If shes good looking, hit it, then leave it. Why not?

Put a rain jacket on. Get wet, then get out!

The smart thing to say would have been, I am but I just noticed shes a smoker and I'm allergic to smoke. Now if the bar is a smoking bar you say "Yeah she's pretty good looking but I'm allergic to Herpes."

I would say it depends on your current relationship status and IF you are single, how long have you been "out of the game".

If it's been a while, I'd say take her out. If you really don't like the smoke thing, insist that she doesn't do it. She can hold off until the night is over.

But, if you recently got out of a relationship, I'd say skip on it. It is probably not what you are looking for.

I recently got home from a party. (I didn't drink, I drove) [oh what am I saying, I'm too young to drink ] There was a fine chick there I was talking to and she smokes, but I would have hit so fast, but that's because I've been "out of the game" for a good while now.

Anyways, I'm done talking for now. :D

Ok people....if passing her up in the early stages gives him a minor complex.....you really think encouraging him to "bang her 'n' run" is what he should be doing??

    LOL

But seriously. No skin off your your butt really. She may have been interesting, but I agree 100% with you on the smoking bit. Last thing you want is that smelly odour around you (or even worse - getting in your Tacoma). Sure not everyone will agree, but there's many people out there that can't stand the foul smell of smoking.

Hey, maybe it is just me but, I don't know many people that go to the bar, or club for that matter looking for a start to their next long term relationship. The ones that I know who do, well, lets just say they usually don't end up with the 'winners.'

W/ that said, go out and have some fun.

There are tons of other non-smoking chicks out there...No worries

smoking is gross. i have dated smokers. i didn't let it get in my way of a interesting girl. Do they mind I pick my nose? a few were kind enough to rarely do it around me.
I cant stand the ones who say " I know I should quit, but..."

but yeah. you are over analyzing this whole thing..
she could be one of those ones who only does it when she drinks, or is nervous.

How 'bout just be honest. Could've told her you were interested until you saw the cigarette. Don't feel like licking an ash tray tonight. Thanks but no thanks.
