Don't feel bad I'm about $16,000 deep into parts preparing for this trip and I'm not even started with the build

Well you certainly made me feel better about the money I spent, but at the same time I have a feeling I will be Uber Jelly of your build when you finally get to it. My wheels are turning to imagine what you spent $16k on...

Well for starters I built $11,000 axles then I got a crawl box, 14" & 16" ORI-Struts and a lot of other things. And I take it back I'm at $18,750 now

Seriously, who does he think he's talking to? Calling someone an idiot for relatively insignificant trail damage? Most of us are here because we do off-road our vehicles and stuff like that is just part of the game.
As a new Taco owner I accidentally drained the trans fluid when trying to change the oil and I don't think anybody called me an idiot (they didn't type it out for me to read anyway), although I felt like one. Oh well, its easy to mouth off on the internet, so people will continue to do so.

some people think 4x4'ing is a redneck thing and should only be done in 500$ beaters

I personally love my truck, its awesome watching people laugh at my truck and than when they are in the ditch in the snow, I just pop her in 4-low and drive around them in the ditch to show them I an no priss, i beat my truck :D

also CANT WAIT for moab this year, truck is still waiting on a couple small things, but I should be ready to rock and roll

Yup, I don't mind mall crawlers, but to bash me pointing out a potential flaw in his light bar placement for the purpose of education and helping out, and for using my truck the way I want, is ignorant.

I did the same thing with my tranny as well. I just called it a drain and fill that I accidentally did ahead of schedule!
