Yea have seen that..two of the rigs have LT and I think freeze is on 35s and the other is SAS on 35s at least. Sooooo....not standard tacoma travel haha

I still want to do it no doubt. Either way spare parts I'd want to stock up on a bit.

 

Just bring it on the trailer with the FRV. Simple. Problem solved.

 

Forsure. Rear locker would be necessary. Also really good recovery equipment would be helpful

You wouldn't be able to flog it in the dunes with just front. One f the rules on LT. You want the rear to out perform the front. If you just have a standard rear setup you have to keep the speeds way low and your be bouncing all over.

If you want to jump the truck and hit the dunes..shouldn't have just bought all that suspension stuff lol

But yea..I know TC does for 2nd gens but that's cause they are weak.

 

I wouldn't be jumping or high speed whoops per se...my balls arent large enough for that shit (and theres no place to use that here, really) but with that much travel in the front, and expos/shackles in the rear, suspension wouldnt limit me ANYWHERE in the state. If I end up living on oahu I'd ship the truck and play in the 4x4 park here

but this is all hypotheticals... Just the idea hit me that I could, if I saved up for a few years haha
