I'm sure he still needs to abide by the terms of his lease and pay rent for the 90 days. He didn't say it was rent free.

Wow, just read this whole thread. Good for you OP, that takes some balls, to do what you did.

And LOL to all the haters. I never assume anything, when someone loses a house, never know what life has thrown at them. Sad stories normally.

Wow.... The Op was excited about beating the bank?

He'd be more excited in 30 years when his house was paid off. He needs to learn how to pay his bills. And/or get out from under any mortgage before it goes into foreclosure.

OH wait..... and be like a lot of people who file for bankruptcy and get rid of all their debt so they can start over again.

not that it matters now, but I don't believe anyone paying a mortgage would have called their home "the house I was living in".

Janster, why don't you do what is says right under you name before you speak? All the info is right in front of you, yet you wrote a ridiculous reply without finding out the facts.

"seriously I dont know your situation but figured you should here it like everyone else sees it ....... good luck to you ..... "

That was a quote from my first post - I guess alot of people didnt read what i wrote carefully as well as I read what OP originally wrote.

I understood his story one way and some people hear viewed it another.
I got applaud and praise for writing what i wrote from some and hate and childish name calling from others.

Now if OP wants the internet "thumbs up's" and the "+1's" and the "good job's" and the "way to go man" from the internet gods thats all great and good - but in all reality who really truly cares.

It was a sucky situation but no need to tell the world you personal business. Its the internet freedom of speech BLAH BLAH BLAH ...... well I excerside my rights as well.

Did I know the whole story "NO"
Do I even really care "NO" (and dont act like yall really care either)

But if you want to write out a story and here honest feedback from the country and world over - Give us the whole story - If not we all have but not choice then to just assume.

Will I apologize for what was written - "NOPE" because when i wrote it I meant what was said based on the facts given at the time - now that the story fully comes out I will respond like this ......

Its a sucky situation that the banks put your through especially during the holiday's - It would have been nice of the New landlord to at least give you a heads up and let you know that they couldnt afford the place and its facing foreclosure and you may have to be out soon. You stood up for your rights against a big corporation and won which is very rare.So yes - good for you ........

HATE ME OR NOT TACOMAWORLD BUT IM ONE THAT WILL ALLWAYS TELL IT LIKE IT IS AND IF YOU THINK THAT IS RUDE I FEEL SORRY FOR YOU ITS 2013 GET A THICKER SKIN - ESPECIALLY ON THE INTERNET ....

KEYBOARD COMMAND SIGNING OUT .............. :)

I care a LOT. Op delivered valuable information to all of us who may encounter a similar situation.

Just like your post helps us identify a toolbag, Timmay.

That thicker skin argument has never saved anyone around here.

And your assuptions sucked...You didn't read what was written and jumped to poor conclusions with a bad attitude. You are more than welcome to have an opinion, but be a dick and you won't last long around TW.
