He has to have some merit if he helped the Raiders make the SB...

    .
Hey Ben I listened to an interview last night of Kap's college coach at Nevada, he created the pistol, great interview. The guy is in the College Hall of Fame. The niners came out to his college a couple of years ago to learn about the pistol. The guy is retired but wants to work in the NFL, the interviewer speculated that maybe if Greg Roman leaves the niners maybe he could get the OC job. Should be interesting.
A lot of media honks all over like the niner's chances against ATL.

I just read a bit more about him, sounds like a smart guy and with a wide range of experience going back to the U in the 80's. Also a member of the FL bar and wrote a book. The Bears need help quick with their aging talent. That window is closing fast.

IDK, his offense always had a fast athletic QB and a fast paced offense. His D was always their ahielies heal. Vick is pretty much done, unless they get another QB of that style, I dont see them doing any better. Maybe if they draft Johnny football and mold him. But those QB's never do well in the NFL, neither does gimmick style football.

Gimmicks. To this day, I still do not understand why any NFL team ever runs reverses. They. Never. Work. Unless you need to lose yardage.

He'll wish he was back at Oregon by mid-season..

Wasn't Trestman the OC for the niner's a while back? And Eddie fired him at a press conference? . From what i remember he sucked as the OC for the browns also

I doubt Harbaugh hires Chris Ault to be Roman's successor. He's well versed in the pistol, but Harbaugh really loves power football as well. He needs someone to be able to do both. IF Roman leaves, I'd bet on Harbaugh hiring from within. Possibly Geep Chryst (QB coach) or Tim Drevno (OL coach)

Yeah pretty much. It's a trash talking thread.

Maybe it's the only group of people you talk to about football that don't have a boner for Tom Brady or you just can't understand why people could possibly dislike mr Brady?
