I'd head in that direction to some kind of a meet-and-greet. I'm an hour and a half (or so) to Syracuse. Much further than that, I would have to wait till spring/summer. I wouldn't mind pulling my camper further for a long weekend come summer either.

I'm game for a camping weekend in the spring or summer. We'll see what the interest is in a week or so and see if anyone still wants to meet up.

If anyone in the Syracuse area wants to get together, my family has a diner in East Syracuse we could meet at,right off 690 and Thompson Road-reduced food prices and cold beer on hand.....Has a private room in the back that holds 20 + for small parties. Just a thought, I'd be willing to meet anywhere also.

That's funny. We have the diner that used to be the old Pelican Diner, it's now my fathers and called Al's Village Diner. Most days there are 3 or 4 of us with Tacoma's there, most are stock TRD's,a few have some mods, nothing real serious, just enough to get us into trouble. I see a couple Tacoma's around that are pretty impressive, one up on RT 11 in N.Syracuse in particular, really nice truck. The diner is on West Manlius st. and parking is in the back, by Brads Sports Bar,if you see us there stop in and say hello.

Don’t live in NY, but i think those law are F*ING BS! i thought 10 rounds was stupid enough! next they will try and lower it to 3 rounds and all revolvers will become illegal Because they all hold 5 or 6 rounds. Gun makers wont make they hold 3 round just for one state.

Also i was thinking i could deal with 10 round limit and i was thinking about moving to WNY where i have a bunch of family. But i’m not even going to think about it now! Limiting rounds wont change anything other than someone can’t defend them self agents mutable bad guys trying to hurt them as well. Also i think it’s BS that you have to sell any mags that hold more than 7 rounds. I don’t see why they can grandfather them in, and they have to stay in the immediate family.

 I'm no felon! or am I?:spy: JK. we don’t have any state laws saying how many rounds we can have and can’t have. :D

I really hate how everyone thinks an AR15 is the exact same thing the military has and shoots the same when it does not. All the ones you can get at a sporting goods store are just a semi auto like any other semi auto gun. Military’s shoot 3 round burst and or full auto. Also i have seen some say they don’t now how a semi auto rifle works BUT NO citizen should own one. idk how they can say that when they don’t even know how it works or anything about guns. Also get mad when someone tries and say it’s a clip and not a magazine. idk why i get mad it only makes them look that much dumber and narrow minded. Everyone is like they shoot 100’s of rounds a second when they only shoot as fast as you can pull the trigger. Unless you have the money and all the paper work and permits to own a fully auto rifle/hand gun. But i think most states it’s a pretty big PITA to get all the right permits.

Only gun that really comes to my mind that uses a clip is an M1 garand, and the clip only holds 8 rounds and the gun weighs like 10 pounds or something! No one in there right mind would use that gun in a mass shooting, to awkward and have to reload to much, Unless you are only going to shoot 8 people.

Hey Zach, settle down there Sparky!:D When you are out this way, you gotta try to come by and do some shooting. I have a couple hundred rounds to waste! I will let you shoot 23 rounds out of each 30 bullet holding stick:), that way I will no longer be a felonious threat to our society!:notsure:

But no shit, we gotta make an attempt to meet up when you are out here.
My phone won't do the internet thing, I can only send to "Live", not receive! (my boss pays for my phone!:p) I will pm you my number so we can touch base.

I know you leave Sat., do you plan on driving straight through? How long are you gonna be here?
