    It's no big deal here in BR, I just wish the rain would stop, Acadiana is the one that really got screwed. It's supposed to snow here tonight too, WTF?!

    It's running fine now
    when we bought it, it was dirty as shit. Did a careful spray down but I still managed to get water in the system...worked its way into the gas

    but I mean... any general "don't fucking do this" kinda stuff I should keep in mind?

    I started on a 600. Just have to know your limits. Also be careful with all of those blind corners down there. Keep it in your lane.

    if you are above 10 mph the gyro scopic effect of the wheels spinning will want to keep you upright. Work on feathering the clutch out while giving it a little bit of gas.

    that's what I'm working on. Gotta rev it pretty high since it's a 250 on the steep hills, working on getting to know how high.

    it doesn't have to be that high. Let the clutch out so you can feel it starting to grab and as you slowly let out, you slowly give it more gas.

    A really good thing for you would be to go find the motorcycle safety class. Take it and you will get 10% off your insurance. They do a lot of work with things exactly like this.
