Gonna mount em there for now. Nt sure if I'm going to get another set and put those black magics up on the windshield or not yet. Still need to get another set of 700ff and the two brackets if I'm gonna do it. Which is like another 160 and another 75-80 for another set of HIDs also. I like this for now though. I'll grab the HIDs next month so for now ill run with the halogens that came with em.

Well just got back from checking out that truck. I really liked it, only worry I have with it is the clutch throw is super short on it, and it engages right off the floor. It may not be a problem, but it felt odd to me. He said he just replaced the slave cylinder. What do yall think, something still up there or no? It didnt slip or anything, it did grind a tad going into 2nd a few times but if I took my time and made sure it was pressed all the way in and shifted slower it didn't. It was solid other than that, and its exactly what i've been looking for and already has a lot of the mods I wanted done to it. The frame was in good shape too, the guy that has it now works at a dealer and some guy brought it up from California and traded it in a WRX.

if he just replaced the slave cylinder and it feels like that it means he didnt bleed it properly. but trust me, if its anything with transmission issues dont jump into it without knowing what it is upfront. I havent driven my audi in 5 months becuase i havent been able to get the tranny dialed in right. Did he replace the slave cylinder himself?

Not sure if this means anything but on my 99 I have to have the clutch all the way to the floor to start it, and it engages fairly close to the floor as well. Might just be a first gen thing? :notsure:

I don't know anything about that, but you are buying a few months late. My brother sold his 01 extra cab a couple months ago. It was a nice set up. 3" lift on it with camper shell

I've only spent 2 weeks total here since oct lol and Nick that's kinda what I thought, I changed the clutch on a car I had in Japan and it was like that until I bled the s*** out of it. I'm not sure if he did it his self or not, he works at a dealer but I didn't think to ask who did the actual maintenance. The tranny it's self seems solid, like I said the first time I went into 2nd it grinded a little but after that I jus took my time a little more and it went in clean. On the other hand I have 2 people wanting to look at mine already. AND I'm already getting spam emails and even texts. CL can be annoying lol

Tell the guy that you want it. Have him take it in to the dealership and have a tech look at it and bleed it better. Tell him If it turns out to be nothing and its fine that youll cover the service bill and buy the truck. But if does turn out to be an issue he pays for it and then you buy it. Unless ofcourse its a major problem. Offer that up to him and see what he says.

OK, which one of you did I see when I was driving on Goldenview Drive last night around midnight? I saw a white 2nd gen with HIDs and I think another 2nd gen and some other vehicle all parked at the entrance to the middle school. Did I miss out on another middle school drug deal?

hahaha, you're right. Once I noticed the white 2nd gen I slowed down to get a better look. At that point they all decided it was time to leave. It looked a little shady haha. They got a good look at my light bar, that's for sure

It could have been me. I didn't bother to brush snow off my truck so the lights may have been under the white stuff.
