I bought a boat but my friend told me I need a diesel truck to tow it. I had already been wanting to make my Tacoma a diesel to get more power. I filled it up with diesel from the gas station and everything but when i started it up my engine started making some strange noises and I'm worried it might be broken.

I live right next to the gas station and it took me like 10 minutes to get home. Feels like the truck is literally jumping and can't go more than a few km/h. What other parts do I need for a proper diesel conversion???

OP the only fix is to add 2.5 cups of sugar to your now-diesel tank.

serious responses only please. need to get this working.

I think I need to go to the store to get parts. is there a quick way I can turn the diesel back into gasoline like the gas stations do so I can drive there?

a diesel conversion is simple, crawl under the truck, unscrew the oil plug... get back in ur truck, then start it, rev it up to around 6k until u hear silence. Then what you have to do is call a tow truck... and tell them to take it to a place that can do a diesel conversion.
