As for a review, well I haven't got to push it like I wanted to last night, too much traffic, but the rear feels less squirrely then before, follows me into and out of turns. Shit I noticed the difference just pulling out of my garage and parking my truck in the street! Unfortunately having this on really shows how crappy the rest of our suspension really is, ESPECIALLY Bilstein shocks...terrible.

    anyways onwards with the pics.

everything needed, minus a few U-bolts from ACE and bolts for the brackets.

rivet that was removed, on each side (this look the longest, minus my wait to install them )
    DSC05010_546de3e8446ac60b0298e66b1f710fd72bca0801.jpg

you can see the two sides here maybe a little clearer where they are for you noobs that haven't been under your trucks before. Note my X-brace  (to be painted Red to match the sways)
    DSC05013_a368f0091ae2ef28117ff7ff4439bec51d1dc0a9.jpg

Brackets mounted. holes in the frame and the bracket are drilled out to 1/2". bolts are 1/2" x 1.5". used washers are each side a nylon lock nuts. Torqued down to specs of my back and bi's  (don't want them going anywhere!)

and a shot of it all, the red is pure sex under there, it's so clean!

I've had my rear sway bar on for months, and I love how the truck handles. I feel so much more confident in the corners.

x2...really like how it handles now. I also can appreciate how much better it is at freeway speeds....in crosswinds the pull is so greatly reduced and there's no mystery when passing semi's now. It's just a pleasure to cruise.

It lost articulation off-road as expected, but surprisingly it's a lot more confident feeling on gravel roads and loose terrain. I guess because all four wheels are in more solid contact as it sways and leans around curves. It's still perfectly suitable for my kind of off-road trekking.

I have a Hellwig sway bar...it looks pretty much the same (not red though) but the links are a LOT shorter! I'm wondering if OP has an X-Runner? or a base Taco he put the x-brace on? I also notice he has a big lowering spacer in the axle perch?

    Interesting mods...

I'm also running a Hellwig bar...and I still have more than enough articulation to get me through the little bit of offroading that I do.

OP has a reg cab, so it must be a base 5 lug.

If i were you i would not leave you exhaust like that, keeping it that way will heat up the axle housing and cause premature failure of the parts inside.

What size U-bolts did you use? I ordered the sway bar and the stock height x runner coils today. I found all the brackets and linkage already.

I just installed my sittin sic swaybar on my truck tonight and man what a difference. The truck is so much more stable around bends, it's a complete different animal. If anyone else is interested in this mod I highly recommend it.

For questions on the parts required this is what you'll need.
    -2 3" U-bolts 3/8" (exhaust clamps work mint)
-4 M12x175 bolts and all the matching hardware (I used all lock nuts)
    -Linkage from rockauto.com ($35)
    -X-Runner sway bar brackets from https://www.trdparts.com/ ($50)
    -12.5mm Drill bit (or 1/2")
    -Black spray paint
