I have a 2012 tacoma 4.0 V6, what is the big black thing on the passanger side under the hood? It makes a noise everyday when i start it. Also is there a picture anywhere of the components under the hood? I used to have an 06' tacoma 4.0 and it looked alot different in the engine compartment than my 2012 does, and i'm just curious what all the extra components are for.

I should've said the round black thing to be more specific and also has a hose coming from it. Sounds like a real sharp whistle, it only last for a second. Also what is the silver cylinder shaped module? I figured it was something to do with all the traction control shit on my truck. Looks like a small motor to me.

Silver cylindrical thingy is the Canuter Valve, they tend to click as they are failing.
