    they mention in the beginning of the first episode that those 4 can do things other amish can't because they weren't baptized by the church. Real or not i like it. all in all its for entertainment otherwise it wouldnt be on tv. so all those butt hurt about it saying its fake and all...so what if it is...your remote broken or something?

    This show is so fake, but I love watching it. Iphones with aftermarket pink case owned by an Amish girl, flying on airplane while voicing over how bad it is to fly as an Amish, semi-automatic AR-15 rifles being shot by a supposedly Amish girl all in one episode. May be just her, and my brush a little big.

    This show is ridiculous. I live in Lancaster county where it is filmed and anyone who knows anthing about the Amish know it's fake as hell. Kind of disturbing really the way they portrait them. What the hell happened to Discovery channel, TLC etc? They used to have decent documentaries, now every flippin channel is flooded with crap. MERICA!

    Yea. I watched all the episodes just for entertainment value. I feel bad for anyone who actually thinks this crap is real. A shame these channels are reduced to fake documentaries just to get ratings.

    I routinely drive through Lancaster county guess I better watch out for Lebanon Levi. Or maybe I need to watch out for those Ohio Amish taking over lol :rolleyes:

    I watched it a couple of times, I couldn't buy it as real though.... Convenient camera angle shots, etc.


    The producers could have tried harder for a more menacing cast, they all look like the worst thing they've ever done was use an expired coupon.

    Levi and his guy that looks like Moe from the 3 Stooges are not cut out to be intimidating.


    .... but I'm still curiously facinated by it. :D

    It has convenient camera angles because it even says at the beginning of the show its "staged reenactments" lol.

    For example the scene where his trailer is allegedly set on fire by Merlin someone has already dug up the minutes from the borough meeting where Levi lives granting him permission to do a controlled burn of a mobile home(he's a volunteer fire fighter) for a segment being filmed for a Discovery show.

    The whole show is fake. its just a Soap Opera geared for the Discovery Channel. At the end of the show, 'cause you fuckers made me watch it to see for myself, it says:

    Its all set up and based on bullshit. The actors are horrible actors, as "real" people. The episode I saw, showed some Amish gal WITH A FUCKING IPHONE!.......and a tuned Dmax, Caddy, etc. Hmm.....most all were GM vehicles...can you say Product Placement?
