    i grabbed a quote for a tranny flush 1 year ago at a local toyota dealer. I won't mention the exact dealer. the quote was $200. I called two days ago (same dealer) and it was $290+. The service guy told me the price of the fluid went up. that sound reasonable?

    That's ridiculous. Plus you don't want to pressure flush if you have high mileage. The transmission gets used to the metal filings in the maze of hydro tubes and flushing those out could cause some issues.

    I would just drain it at home and refill it

    2 years on a sticker and the added benefits of little laws that Mass has shoved so far up their ass.

    Slow i know i got stranded and Barnes & Nobles in Greenville for 4 hours, GF dropped me off so she could go to her friends birthday. But wanted me to drive her car there because of possible ice. well the store closed and i heel toed the mile to Apple Bee's, slipped twice. Then she called and said she wasn't going to unlock the car for me (didn't want her girls knowing). So after my freezing cold stroll to apple bees i sat at the bar till she call me and said they had left ( i clearly knew that) told her to drive to the front of apple bee's so i could walk up to the car.. "Where the hell were you, I didn't see you at all" close one i was talking with the cute bartender.
