Hey man, thanks for the help, now I remember! They fell out of my canoe when it went through the ice during the snow storm a couple of weeks ago. I guess I will have to dive for them in the spring!

Anyone need a couple 30's? They are at the bottom of Canandaigua Lake. The south end in Naples, NY!

Harden your bark, there are storms on the horizon.
How does this work? I've been following the news, but am foggy on details as to granfathering, being caught with banned equipment, etc. Have heard that grandfathered items will be reregistered as NFAs? Shit, that would bankrupt me on magazines alone.

Can someone give a summary of this new bullshit? Can't see this type of stuff making it through in my state, but am trying to stay informed none the less.

Don't get me wrong. I LOVE guns. I have no doubts that the NRA is defiantly helping me keep my guns. However I signed up two years ago. Before I even got my membership card I got a letter stating my membership was going to expire and renew now ect. Bout 2 days later I got my card. Then about every month I got a letter stating my membership was goin to run out. I did not renew my membership. Now my dad got his membership last year and he's to maybe three letters. Sorry guys I didn't feel my membership money when to protecting my 2nd amendment rights. I more than likely wrong though.

Why do you need another 870? Can't you get another barrel in 26 or 28 inch?

Damn, I didn't know that. I love my 28 inch barrel...Great for hunting (only reason I've got it) and for shooting trap. I shot a Mossberg 500 for a season as well...Great guns, but I prefer the fit and finish of an 870 more.

Check out Stoeger o/u and SxS's. On the cheaper end but made solid and great shooters. I've got one of their nickle and black coach guns and the thing's so much fun to shoot! The Condor is a great o/u for about $450 and up. The Uplander is the SxS for about the same price. Their pump and auto are great guns too. They're owned by Benelli and the autos use the same Inertia Drive gas system. Great guns for the money IMHO.
