    I am a machinist with TVA Fossil Power group. I help keep the machines running to supply electricity to all the fine folks of the Tennessee Valley. Alot of coal dust, dirt, and dark holes.

    Nope. They are called "modules" (made by 3M). Same basic premise as 66 or 110 blocks though.

    Sounds cool. I want to get into the wireless side of at&t. Fooling around on cell towers, etc. Poles are getting boring:p But most of that is being contracted out now, to companies like yours prob.

    the wireless side is not to bad but the contracting work kinda suckes all i do is travel i was just thinking about going over to the telco side just not to big on climbing poles and the bucket truckes i have climbed a couple towers but never been above 90 feet and i dont disconnect from the safety line

    nothing like starting your morning w/ 1 hook in @ 2-3 stories, full body weight on the strand, trying to get to that splice. It just doesnt get my heart pumping anymore though. Now its just a PITA.
